New release CodeGrade PerfectlyNormal

We’re excited to announce our latest release, CodeGrade PerfectlyNormal! Thanks to the recent expansion of our development team, we now have even more resources to continuously improve CodeGrade for you and develop your awesome feature requests. Our new update not only brings a beautiful redesign of our Dark Theme (and a retouch of our Light Theme), it also brings two of your feature requests to CodeGrade: bulk submission exporting and custom grading scales.

Previously, teachers had to use API scripts to bulk-download their students’ submissions (which is still possible, learn more here!). With the new exporting feature we’ve made it possible to easily export all of your students’ submissions for an assignment with the click of a button, right from within CodeGrade.

Start using CodeGrade: the most advanced Computer Science grading and feedback platform!

What’s more, many of our teachers have made it known that their institutions use different grading scales and that grading with a point scale has made grading challenging. The addition of new grading scales to CodeGrade means that students can now be given a percentage grade rather than a point scale grade. This will allow our teachers to tailor their grading schemes to better match their needs.

In this release we’ve also rolled out a number of smaller improvements such as making it possible to increase the size of CodeGrade for students in certain LMSs, providing an improved user experience for group set management, and several bug fixes to boot.

Over the past months, we have improved many aspects of CodeGrade and added numerous new features. Our goal is to have you benefit from these features and updates as quickly and seamlessly as possible. To achieve that, we have dedicated our previous webinar to discuss how you can best use all these new features, you can watch the webinar on demand here!
